Delete Your Account — My Task List

This page explains how to delete your My Task List account and all associated data, whether or not you still have the app installed.

If you have the app installed

Open My Task List, sign in, go to your Profile screen, and tap Delete my account. Confirming immediately and permanently deletes your account.

If you don't have the app installed

Email luke-gplay-developer@googlegroups.com from the email address associated with your account (the Google account you signed in with) with the subject line "Delete my My Task List account". We will process your request within 60 days and confirm by email once it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, email, photo, and notification tokens
• Any list you own privately, and all of its tasks
• Your membership in any list shared with you
• Your assignment on any task in a list you don't own

A list you own that's shared with other people isn't deleted out from under them - ownership transfers to another member instead, so their tasks and data survive your account deletion. Deleting your account also deletes your Firebase sign-in identity itself, so you'd need to sign in again as a new account to use My Task List afterward.

What we retain

Nothing, beyond what we may be legally required to retain. We don't currently have any such requirement.
